Marketing is what I’ve always known, so it’s no surprise that I ended up working at an agency myself. I have over 20 years of experience behind me, and have worn many hats in my career, but I followed my passion for numbers and ultimately landed in accounting. I now have nearly 17 years of experience in various aspects of the accounting process. I love watching projects flow from start to finish, and I like to see how all the ins and outs of the system fit together like a puzzle. I love diving into problem solving to figure out the numbers. I wouldn’t be where I am today without a wonderful support system. Between my partner, Bryce, two amazing children, Maddy and Sam, and my close family, I am thankful and truly blessed. Family first, loyal to lifelong friends, and an avid sports fan. I grew up in Greenfield, a perfect little town in SW Iowa. My parents still live there, and I love visiting often. Many of my closest friends are girls I have known since my childhood. I wouldn’t change it for the world! My husband of 30 years, Mike, tries to keep me in check, but he knows my fun-loving side is always going to win. We love the Iowa Hawkeyes, tailgating, traveling, live music, golfing, bike rides, beverages, breweries, and a great charcuterie board. I also love my monthly Book Club, gathering with friends and having fun discussions with each other. Most of all, I just love spending time with friends and family! You will rarely find me sitting quietly at home. Our daughter, Kayla, is currently living in the Kansas City area, and we love road trips to visit her and her boyfriend, AJ. I was only told that I needed to be able to count commercial breaks, and since I had no experience, I thought that was extremely doable. I’ve learned over the last eight years that there is so much more than counting spots.
