I lived in four states before I was 12. When people ask me where I’m from, I’m still not quite sure how to answer, but let’s go with Muscatine, Iowa. Despite many moves, I had two constants that stick with me today – my family and a love of books. I’m a huge reader, and I always believed I’d grow up to be an author. I’m not there quite yet (stay tuned for my breakout novel), but starting my career as a full-time content writer feels pretty close.

I’m a proud Cyclone graduate and migrated back to the center of the state to live in Des Moines. In my free time, I still enjoy reading, but I also love the great outdoors and traveling to as many National Parks as possible to hike and camp. When I’m not able to be out in nature, I’m surrounded by it at home with my beloved houseplants. I love spending time with my husband, family, and friends, especially while enjoying a good cup of coffee or a home-cooked meal
