Creative
Flynntern

A creative's job is to throw random ideas or designs at the wall and see if they stick. JUST KIDDING. Designers and writers are problem solvers with imagination and they often work together, producing effective campaigns, billboards, invites, direct mail and pranks. In short, they know that if there's a message, there's a way to communicate it. And they're committed to finding it.

Media
Flynntern

FACT: A great Media Flynntern has a lot in common with a real estate agent. Why? Because whether they're hoping to be a Media Strategist, Buyer or Planner when they grow up, their ultimate goal is helping discover and procure the best advertising real estate at the best price. They know that even the best creative can't perform if the right people don't see it — so they go hunting for them.

Research
Flynntern

A great research Flynntern sees real beauty in numbers and the stories they can tell. They're stirred by statistics. They talk to graphs the way a mother does a child. "Aww, you're such a smart little graph, quickly communicating such a complicated set of facts." For them, answers alone aren't enough. They need to know why, how, who, when and – whether it was with the candlestick. Their work shapes strategy, creative and entire campaigns.

Interactive/Digital
Flynntern

If you want to roll interactive style, it takes way more than loving Facebook or vaguely knowing what a microsite is. You've got to understand form, function and how to merge the two. You speak in binary (or wish you could) and have a sincere respect for digital media, its evolution and its potential – because you're a part of making that magic happen.
